Indians Win at Baltimore, 6-4
|
The Cleveland Indians dealt the Baltimore Orioles a 6-4 loss at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Sean Starkey, who leads the AL in bases on balls with 51, was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with a triple and a walk. Hugo Corral earned the save, his 1st, for the Indians. Baltimore's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
It could have been a different outcome for Cleveland, had it not been for Dan Gura, the 32-year old catcher . Gura contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Cleveland up, 5-0.
"It's not about individual awards," Gura told a Cleveland Today reporter after the game. "It's about winning championships. That's what we play for."
