Dodgers Hammered by Alvarez, Drop Game 6 to Stars
The Nashville Stars and the Los Angeles Dodgers will take the World Series to a decisive 7th game. The Stars got a dramatic walk-off victory in a must-win situation today to beat the Dodgers 9-8 at Dave Hammertime Stadium and force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Nashville designated hitter Yordan Alvarez was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times.

Raul Ayuso was the walk-off hero for Nashville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stars left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We're happy," Ayuso told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dave Hammertime Stadium in Nashville.
