Minnesota (GCL) Sweeps into the Round 3
After their 7-0 win today at Hammond Stadium over the Houston (GCL) Astros, the Minnesota (GCL) Twins will advance to the Round 3. Minnesota (GCL) won the series by a 2-0 margin.

Leading the way for the Twins was center fielder Bob Snider, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The Minnesota (GCL) Twins don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Boston (GCL) Red Sox - Philadelphia E (GCL) Phillies East series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
