The Lakewood BlueClaws are riding high after knocking off the Delmarva Shorebirds in the Round 1.

"We're feeling confident now and that's half the battle," said Chris Boggs, who was named series MVP. "You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this."

Lakewood won the final game by a 7-6 count at FirstEnergy Park and the series 3-1.

For the series, Boggs hit .444 with a .474 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Lakewood BlueClaws don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Charleston RiverDogs - Rome Braves series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
