The Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 10-8, at Miller Park. Kevin Plunkett, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Steve Miles earned the save for Chicago, his 19th. The first-place Cubs have won 4 consecutive games.

Left Fielder Josh Bell made an impact for Chicago, when he swatted a 2-run double off Tony Venegas in the top of the third. For the contest, Bell was 2-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
