In a splendid 2-0 shutout performance, Kevin Hill of the Miami (GCL) Marlins subdued the Houston (GCL) Astros on a 8-hitter.

"He kept hitting his spots and putting up zeroes, so I kept sending him out there," Miami (GCL) manager Chad Comer said in postgame comments.

Hill registered 10 strikeouts and 2 walks.
