Acosta Pitches Milwaukee (AZL) to Shutout Victory
The Milwaukee (AZL) Brewers Blue did little to support starter Steve Acosta against the Cincinnati (AZL) Reds, but it turned out he didn't need the help.

The left-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Reds, striking out 5 and surrendering 6 hits. The performance from Acosta allowed Milwaukee (AZL) to escape with the 2-0 win, despite an anemic offense.

"Nobody came to me and said, 'Steve, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Acosta told BNN reporters following the win. "I'm the guy that will step up for you when you need it."
