5-for-7 Game for McClure
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Dave McClure. McClure went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Burlington pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Burlington Athletic Stadium, he had a 5-for-7 line and a day he will long remember. And the Greeneville Reds had a win, 5-4, over the Royals.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Dave McClure hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, singled in the 10th, hit an RBI single in the 11th and singled in the 13th.

So far this season, McClure has recorded a .379 batting average with 86 hits, 1 home run, 37 RBIs, 43 runs scored and a .469 OBP.
