Foriest Rips 2 Homers in 7-5 Win
The New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers completed their game despite the rain.

Yankees left fielder Allen Foriest left his imprint on his team's 7-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Foriest hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for New York in the contest. Picking up the win was Steve Gaspard. He went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 2.

With New York leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Foriest hit a changeup from Jose Guzman for a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Yankees ahead, 6-3.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Foriest.

The Yankees raised their record to 15-22.
