Zarate Fuels 10-3 Detroit Triumph
|
Detroit left fielder Jose Zarate had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Minnesota Twins, 10-3. Picking up the save was Chris Mallett, his 1st. Detroit raised its record to 19-15 with the win.
Ramon Campos, who is on pace for 129 RBI this season, helped out the Detroit cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman drew 2 walks.
