Grissom Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Sunday, July 16th , 2028 It was a big day for Vaughn Grissom and he brought the Minnesota Twins along for the ride. Grissom led his club to victory, 7-2, over the Tampa Bay Rays at Target Field, smoking Tampa Bay pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 27-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." Vaughn Grissom singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
