Díaz Wins Award for NL Dominance Saturday, November 2nd , 2024 His manager and teammates call Edwin Díaz a true bullpen ace. The National League calls him the winner of the Reliever of the Year for 2024. The New York Mets relief specialist out of Naguabo, Puerto Rico, won the award with 41 saves in 66 relief appearances, 130 strikeouts in 73.2 innings and 25 walks. He compiled a record of 7 wins and 2 losses and had a 1.10 ERA. Adbert Alzolay of the Chicago Cubs finished second in voting, while Brusdar Graterol of the Los Angeles Dodgers finished third. |
