2024 NL Cy Young Award Announced Saturday, November 2nd , 2024 An old hand in this game, Jacob deGrom of the New York Mets silenced critics as well as he silenced the opposition this year by winning the National League Cy Young Award. The 36-year-old starter threw 205.1 innings, notched 225 strikeouts and put up a 17-7 record to claim the coveted award. Dustin May of the Los Angeles Dodgers finished second in voting, while Max Fried of the Atlanta Braves finished third. |
