Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the National League Most Valuable Player Award. Freeman hit for a .340 average while collecting 212 hits, 49 doubles, 3 triples, 27 home runs, 104 RBIs and scoring 106 times. Juan Soto of the Los Angeles Dodgers finished second in voting, while Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves finished third. |
