Cincinnati Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 17th , 2024 The Cincinnati Reds will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2024 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Cincinnati was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Cincinnati last appeared in the postseason in 2020. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 137 times in their 154-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Reds have missed the playoffs 8 times. Cincinnati last won the World Series in 1990. |
