Playoffs? No Chance for Seattle Thursday, September 12th , 2024 Matt Brash said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Seattle Mariners after they missed the Major League Baseball playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2022. In total, the Mariners have missed the playoffs 43 times in their 48-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Mariners have only made the playoffs once. |
