Nationals Buried - Out of Playoffs Friday, September 6th , 2024 Many Washington Nationals fans have already turned their attention to next season, and with good reason. Even with a good chunk of the schedule still left to play, the club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Washington last appeared in the postseason in 2019. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 51 times in their 56-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Nationals have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
