Atlanta Snaps Bichette Streak at 25
Thursday, May 11th , 2028
For once, it was the Miami Marlins picking up the slack for Bo Bichette.

The club's "offensive catalyst," as Miami manager Creig McBride has frequently called him, went uncharacteristically silent and saw his 25-game hitting streak snapped by the Atlanta Braves. Bichette was bailed out by the rest of the Marlins, however, who stopped the Braves, 5-4.

The 30-year-old first baseman finished the day 0-for-4, and told reporters at the postgame press conference that "everybody did their job but me."

"Not that it was a huge problem -- we still won the game," he said with a grin. "The streak was a good run though. I'll try to start another one tomorrow."

So far this year, Bichette is batting .382 with 11 home runs and 23 RBIs.
