Season-Ending Injury for Blaine Crim
Tuesday, August 6th , 2024
The doctors have spoken and Blaine Crim of the Texas Rangers didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old first baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Crim sustained his season-ending injury during the Houston Astros game yesterday at Globe Life Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Texas medical staff reported Crim had a torn calf muscle and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months.

Presently Crim is batting .305 with 12 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 61 games and scored 33 times.
