Machado Wins NL's Best Bat Award Thursday, August 1st , 2024 On the heels of a very productive July, Manny Machado received National League Batter of the Month recognition today. The battle-tested third baseman hit .329 for the San Diego Padres and racked up 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This season Machado is swinging the bat at a .242 rate with 96 hits in 397 at-bats. To date he has hit 17 home runs, scored 49 runs and driven in 55. |
