Pages Blasts 3 into Bleachers Thursday, July 25th , 2024 Fans are still buzzing after San Diego whipped the Washington Nationals by the score of 11-7 today at Nationals Park. Andy Pages smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Pages said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Pages said. "Three is just... wow." Andy Pages struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Cade Cavalli in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Matt Cronin in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Tanner Rainey in the 9th. Pages is hitting .268 so far this season with 34 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 57 hits including 14 home runs, 25 walks and .357 OBP. |
