Alcantara's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback Wednesday, July 24th , 2024 Miami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara is not healing as well as expected as he recovers from shoulder bursitis and will miss an additional 3 weeks as a result. Alcantara had been working with the team medical staff, but was taken to a specialist as a precaution. Examination revealed more damage than originally thought. On the season Alcantara has a 4-9 record with a 4.62 ERA. |
