Betts Raps 400th Roundtripper
Wednesday, July 18th , 2029
It's official. Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers hit his 400th home run tonight.
The Los Angeles Dodgers took on the San Francisco Giants and downed them 6-3, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Betts. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout.
"400 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the Dodgers puzzle."
The Dodgers right fielder went 2-for-4 with 1 home run and 3 runs batted in as the Los Angeles Dodgers topped the San Francisco Giants.
Lifetime Betts has played in 1980 games, batted .281 with 400 home runs and 2178 base hits.
