Hoerner's 21-Game Hit Streak Ends Thursday, June 28th , 2029 Nico Hoerner had his hitting streak snapped at 21 games today during a 5-2 Philadelphia win over the Miami Marlins at Citizens Bank Park. The 32-year-old second baseman was hitless in 4 at-bats. "Had to end sometime," Hoerner said, shrugging. This season Hoerner is batting .309 with 5 home runs.
