Colorado Sweeps into the League Championship Series Monday, October 9th , 2028 It's a sweet sweep for the Colorado Rockies and they have won the Division Series. The Pittsburgh Pirates were not able to keep pace with the Rockies and dropped the series in short order, losing 5-3 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Pittsburgh manager Jimmy Serrano. It's now on to the League Championship Series for Colorado after their 3-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was second baseman Jonathan India, who was named MVP. For the series, India hit .500 with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Colorado Rockies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York Mets - Los Angeles Dodgers series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 13th , 2028.
