Fenton Selected AL's #1 Rookie Sunday, October 1st , 2028 Youngster Garrett Fenton emerged as the latest American League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Kansas City deserved the honor, batting .337 with 10 home runs and 19 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Fenton enjoy the limelight. This year Fenton is batting .269 with 50 home runs and 138 RBIs. In 161 games he has scored 107 times. |
