Rivera Takes NL's Best Bat Award Sunday, October 1st , 2028 At only 25 years of age, Dave Rivera could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Pittsburgh Pirates, as September was one to remember for the right fielder and he has captured the National League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .347 with 14 home runs, 36 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Presently Rivera is batting .309 with 40 home runs and 118 RBIs. He has played in 159 games and scored 98 times. |
