Yankees-Orioles Fight Nets 5-Game Suspensions Saturday, September 23rd , 2028 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Yankee Stadium have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Ryder Green of the New York Yankees and Jeff Roberts of the Baltimore Orioles. This year Green has socked 129 hits in 490 at-bats for a .263 average with 21 home runs. He is getting on base at a .320 pace and his totals also include 70 RBIs and 74 runs scored. Roberts has 39 saves with a 5-2 season record and a 1.96 ERA. He also has 62 relief appearances, thrown 59.2 innings and struck out 73. |
