Pittsburgh's Rivera NL Star of the Week Monday, September 18th , 2028 Dave Rivera demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the National League Player of the Week Award. The Pittsburgh right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .556 average (10-for-18) with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. For the season Rivera has produced 167 hits in 540 at-bats for a .309 average with 35 home runs and gotten on base at a .385 clip. |
