Atlanta Braves Win World Series Friday, November 5th , 2032 A celebratory mood filled the air as the Atlanta Braves closed out the season with a 9-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park to capture the World Series, 4-3. Giving the Mariners credit for a hard-fought series, Braves players said they believed throughout the postseason that their "destiny" was to be crowned COBB champions. "We felt like this was our year all season long," said left fielder Kevin Potts, who was named series MVP. "It was our destiny to win it and we did." It was the 5th in franchise history. During the National League East Division regular season Atlanta put up a 93-69 record and finished second.
