Reds Win Division Series Thursday, October 14th , 2032 The Division Series may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The Cincinnati Reds, however, are not complaining. The Reds were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the Philadelphia Phillies to advance to the League Championship Series. Cincinnati won the final game by a 11-6 count at Great American Ball Park and the series 3-1. Reds left fielder Mike Macias was named series MVP, as he hit .455 with a .500 on-base percentage. He added 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. "It's not going to be the last time Philadelphia makes it to the playoffs, so it's sure a nice feeling to put them out this year," Macias said. "We just need to keep this going and take it day by day." The Cincinnati Reds will play against the Atlanta Braves in the next round.
