Tony Larios to Miss 4-5 Weeks Monday, October 11th , 2032 Philadelphia first baseman Tony Larios suffered a season-ending injury running the bases in today's game against the Reds. According to club doctors Larios has a strained back muscle. Although Larios has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. This year Larios is hitting at a .271 pace with 52 home runs and 127 RBIs. He has played in 161 games and scored 107 times. |
