3-HR Day for Daly Friday, October 1st , 2032 The fans at Comerica Park witnessed Trevaun Daly write his name into the league record book with three home runs, but the Detroit Tigers still dropped the decision to the Kansas City Royals 8-7. "I've always loved hitting in Comerica Park," Daly said, speaking with reporters after the game. "You can see the ball so well. I'm glad I got the homers, but three hits and a win would have been nicer." For the day, he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. Trevaun Daly grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Eric Weiss in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Eric Weiss in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Butch Andrews in the 7th and struck out in the 10th. So far this season Daly is hitting .258 with 40 home runs. |
