Conerly Hits in 30 Consecutive Games Friday, October 1st , 2032 Orioles right fielder Geoff Conerly has extended his hitting streak to 30 games. He went 1-for-5 in today's game against the Houston Astros. Baltimore won the ballgame 5-4. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Geoff Conerly singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and struck out in the 10th. So far this season Conerly is hitting .270 with 46 home runs, 120 RBIs and 95 runs scored. He has 167 hits in 618 at-bats and a .319 OBP. |
