Cook Named September's #1 Newcomer Friday, October 1st , 2032 Chris Cook's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Colorado designated hitter has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .340 with 5 doubles, no triples and 14 home runs. Cook also scored 20 times and drove in 23 runs. This season Cook is batting .326 with 125 hits, 37 home runs, 87 RBIs, 41 walks, .400 OBP and has scored 66 runs. He has played in 101 games. |
