Chris Puckett Out for 3 Weeks Tuesday, September 28th , 2032 Chris Puckett at first refused to leave today's Minnesota-Kansas City game after he suffered elbow tendinitis while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Kansas City reliever said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Puckett out of action for 3 weeks. This season Puckett has recorded 4 saves with a 2-0 record. He's made 36 relief appearances, tossed 46.2 innings while fanning 47 with a 1.93 ERA. |
