The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2032. "It feels bad," said Diamondbacks reliever Kelvin Bautista, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2027. In total, the Diamondbacks have missed the playoffs 28 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Diamondbacks have only made the playoffs once. |
