Indians McDonald Lost for Year Wednesday, September 22nd , 2032 Cleveland starting pitcher Tim McDonald could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. He exited yesterday's Chicago game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said McDonald would be out 10 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." This season McDonald has worked 105.2 innings with 79 strikeouts en route to a 3-11 record and a 5.45 ERA. |
