Chris Schutte Hurt, Out 6-7 Weeks Wednesday, September 15th , 2032 Texas Rangers reliever Chris Schutte left yesterday's game against the Los Angeles Angels after suffering a partially torn labrum throwing a pitch. Schutte was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Schutte is expected to miss 6-7 weeks. To date this year, he has registered 3 saves, 2 wins and 1 loss with a 2.56 ERA. Schutte has made 45 relief appearances, worked a total of 45.2 innings and surrendered 23 hits. He has fanned 73, issued 22 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .148 batting average. |
