San Diego Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 15th , 2032 The San Diego Padres will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2032 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as San Diego was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. San Diego last appeared in the postseason in 2027. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 52 times in their 64-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Padres have made the playoffs 6 times. |
