He easily handled Indians pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Tigers to a 12-9 triumph at Progressive Field. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Skipper's quip, Indians skipper Darrell Rasner said he "would take him up on that next time." Devin Skipper singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
