Philadelphia-Miami Fight Results in Suspensions
Friday, August 13th , 2032
Yesterday at Citizens Bank Park Ronaldo Peterson and Max Rajcic got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Philadelphia Phillies and Miami Marlins. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.

Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Peterson will have to sit out 3 while Rajcic would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl.

This season Peterson has hit at a .280 clip with 74 RBIs, 27 home runs and 62 runs scored.

This season Rajcic has worked 123.2 innings with 89 strikeouts en route to a 8-5 record and a 3.64 ERA.
