Brewers Hunter Furtado Down and Out for Year Saturday, August 7th , 2032 The Milwaukee Brewers were dealt a severe blow when Hunter Furtado was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Atlanta Braves. After the game, the team trainer reported Furtado might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 30-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn rotator cuff. They indicated it would take Furtado at least 8-9 months to heal. This season Furtado has compiled a 5-6 mark, 3.20 ERA and made 3 starts. |
