Rowdy Players Suspended by League Thursday, August 5th , 2032 T.J. Petix of the San Francisco Giants and Ricky Tiedemann of the St. Louis Cardinals will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Giants-Cardinals game at Oracle Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Petix and Tiedemann will begin serving them soon. In his season totals, Petix has 1 home run, .316 BA, .402 OBP, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 29 games. To this point in the season, Tiedemann shows a 6-7 record, 22 starts, 115.2 innings, 93 strikeouts and a 5.21 ERA. |
