SP Carter Boyd Hurt Friday, July 30th , 2032 Carter Boyd of the Chicago Cubs was injured in today's game against Philadelphia and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a herniated disc, and he is expected to be out for up to one week. It happened while Boyd was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest.
