Delay Walks Away from the Game Wednesday, July 7th , 2032 Pittsburgh Pirates officials flanked Jason Delay as he announced his retirement from pro baseball today. Rumors have had him on the verge of retirement since late last week but were not confirmed until today. "I want to leave the game the way I came into it," said Delay. "I don't want to become an embarrassment to myself and the team." Lifetime Delay is batting .198 with 24 doubles, 4 triples, 13 home runs and 67 RBIs in 243 games. |
