Justin Boyd Suffers Injury Tuesday, July 6th , 2032 Justin Boyd at first refused to leave today's Tampa Bay-New York game after he suffered a sports hernia while running the bases. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty New York third baseman said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Boyd out of action for 8 weeks. Boyd is hitting .236 in 2032 with 36 RBIs and 16 home runs. |
