Royals End Aragon's Streak Friday, July 2nd , 2032 Angelo Aragon of the Oakland Athletics came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 23 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Oakland dropped the game to the Kansas City Royals 8-4. "It was not a good day today," Aragon told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This season Aragon has delivered 85 hits in 308 at-bats for a .276 average with 24 home runs. He is getting on base at a .351 clip and his totals also include 59 RBIs and 47 runs scored. This year Aragon has played in 81 games. |
