LaMarre Ousted as Manager; New York Begins Search Thursday, June 24th , 2032 The New York Mets have ended their relationship with skipper Ryan LaMarre, firing him this afternoon. The Mets indicated they will soon be interviewing candidates for the position. "This time we hope to get someone with a proven track record. We want an experienced manager and will take our time in getting one," general manager Chris Monte told reporters. "No hard feelings," LaMarre said. "This is just part of the game. New York gave me an opportunity and I appreciate it. They treated me well and fairly. I just wish we could have done better." |
