Seattle Mariners starter Bryce Miller turned in an exceptional performance against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field, resulting in a Seattle win, 4-1. Andres Munoz locked down his 3rd save. The loss drops the Texas record to a disappointing 11-14.

Julio Rodriguez, the 23-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Rodriguez contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Seattle up, 2-1.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Seattle skipper Andres Wray. "I can't complain."
